Road sensor technology could improve inspection process

Applied Sensor Research and Development Corporation is working on sensor technology that could improve road safety by measuring the temperature of concrete, which is an indicator of the material's stability through its lifespan. The sensors could allow for wireless monitoring capability, negating the need for teams of engineers to climb up or down scaffolding to inspect structures.
