Friedman: Eliminate federal income taxes for teachers

Public school teachers should not be asked to pay federal income taxes, according Thomas L. Friedman. Friedman, whose wife is a Montgomery County, Md., teacher, says that would draw more people to the profession, and he also advocates for higher salaries for highly qualified math and science teachers.
