Report: Comcast building data warehouse for Canoe Ventures

Comcast is developing a massive, computerized storage system that would gather set-top-box information from more than 16 million U.S. households, according to this report. The data, collectively called TV Warehouse, would then be funneled to Canoe Ventures, the group set up by Comcast and five other cable providers to create advanced-advertising solutions.
