AdvaMed urges device firms to adopt code of ethics

AdvaMed is calling on device makers to submit certification to serve as proof that they have complied with the group's revised code of ethics. The trade group's move comes as the Senate incorporated into its health reform bill the Physicians Payments Sunshine Act, which would require companies to publicly disclose payments or items to doctors.
