FDA clears Cerner's medical device connectivity software

Cerner has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for its CareAware iBus connectivity software, which is designed to link medical devices to electronic medical records systems. The application can enable IT departments to track the performance and connectivity of medical devices, among other uses.
