Personal, direct, unique snail mail still trumps e-mail

Alicia Settle, president of New York-based Per Annum, said her company experienced a 25% year-to-year loss in orders after swapping snail-mail marketing for e-mail last year. Like many other small-business owners, Settle has found that direct, personal and unique snail mail still is the best way to win customers and keep them coming back.
