Survey finds increase in student anxiety, mental-health problems

New data show that five times as many high-school and college students in 2007 had anxiety or other mental-health issues as compared with youths surveyed during the Great Depression. Experts said a culture focused on external aspects of life, including money, personal looks and status, may be contributing to the increase.
