Abengoa's cellulosic project in Kansas is "right on track," exec says

Construction on Abengoa Bioenergy's commercial-scale cellulosic-ethanol plant in Hugoton, Kan., is "right on track," and the facility should become operational by the end of 2013, said Executive Vice President Chris Standlee. Abengoa is already eying its options for the site of its second biorefinery, on which construction could begin as early as 2014. "We're not looking to start construction on a new facility in the immediate future by any means, but it's never too early to be planning our next move," Standlee said.
