Pediatric registry IDs clinical aspects of pulmonary hypertension

The Tracking Outcomes and Practice in Pediatric Pulmonary Hypertension registry has helped determine clinical features specific to the treatment of children with pulmonary hypertension, according to an analysis in The Lancet. Researchers reported that 79% of patients in the registry had confirmed pulmonary hypertension and 88% of these were diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension. Dyspnea and fatigue were the most frequent symptoms.
