Crucial shows DDR4 memory modules at CES

The Crucial brand of Micron Technology exhibited DDR4 synchronous DRAM modules this week at the 2013 International CES in Las Vegas, saying that it will ship such modules in late 2013. "[R]educed voltage compared to DDR3, will make DDR4 an important advancement in memory technology that will benefit computing systems that range from the personal computer to the data center," Crucial's Jim Jardine said.
