Grant makes flights possible for Young Eagles

The Experimental Aircraft Association's Young Eagles program recently received a $500,000 grant from the Hutchinson Foundation. According to the foundation's director, Geoffrey Strand, the money is to be used to encourage the "aviation bug" in youths. "What we are doing is providing an opportunity for the next generation to come down to the airport and get excited about general aviation," he said.
