Medical devices from 5 Ga. manufacturers win FDA nod

Sebia's blood diagnostic system was one of several medical devices cleared by the FDA in December and announced by the agency this week. Dornier MedTech America's laser device, Southern Spine's StabiLink MIS Spinal Fixation System, Femasys' Endocervical Sampler and Kimberly-Clark's KimVent Microcuff Subglottic Suctioning Endotracheal Tubes also earned FDA clearance last month. All five firms are based in Georgia.
