Increased government regulation of the Internet and telecommunications isn't advisable in extending broadband access to more Americans, Orjiakor Isiogu of the Michigan Public Service Commission argues in this piece. "The reflex to regulate or not regulate is just that: an impulsive reflex often devoid of analytical rigor," he writes. Isiogu also serves as co-vice chairman of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners Committee on Telecommunications.
