Pandora has hit the "inflection point of being profitable," Chief Revenue Officer John Trimble says in this interview. The Internet music streamer indexes higher on mobile devices (80%) than any other media company, derives 55% of its revenue from the mobile platform and won 20% of the domestic mobile display ad spend last year. "When you think about mobile, the killer ad for us is the audio ad. There's no one doing audio ads at the scale that we do," Trimble says.
