Social spotlight can be tough for young sports stars

Star athletes can find themselves the subject of debate and criticism on social networks, and that can be tough to cope with, experts say. "They are the conversation. People are actually talking about them, and as an 18-, 19-, 20-year-old kid, you're very invested in what people are saying about you," Clemson professor Jimmy Sanderson says.
