Wilocity offers wireless chipsets with 802.11ad, WiGig capability

Wilocity has a wireless chipset reference design that makes use of the IEEE 802.11ad and 60-gigahertz WiGig standards. The chipset includes Qualcomm's VIVE 802.11ac Wi-Fi chips. Dell has designed the chipset into its Latitude 6430u Ultrabook computer, and Wilocity plans to offer the chipset for mobile devices in the future, according to Wilocity CEO Tal Tamir.
