Greg Korte moving past disastrous Alladin project

Greg Korte, the son of Ralph Korte who founded national construction firm The Korte Co., owned Las Vegas-based KBA before one project sent it into ruins. Korte says he lost more than $4.5 million on the project to build Alladin's Theatre for the Performing Arts after permit delays shortened the job's building time to just over two months and after completion, KBA wasn't paid for much of its work. Following the blowup, Korte, now a division manager for his father's firm, considers the construction atmosphere in Vegas "bullish" but "tough."
