Romney haunted by LGBT-friendly past

The conservative credentials of prospective Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney continue to come under fire with the release of a 28-page report from a conservative activist describing his past support for LGBT rights and the posting on YouTube.com of a 1994 video in which the ex-Massachusetts governor said he believed gays should be allowed in the Boy Scouts. But Romney said he was "wrong" on certain issues in the past, and one backer said he was the real deal on conservative issues such as marriage.
