AirTran recalling furloughed pilots, flight attendants

Though it plans to cut capacity as much as 7% this year, AirTran Airways is calling 60 pilots back from furlough, effective Feb. 1. The carrier also is bringing flight attendants back from leave and making plans to hire more. "In the event that we don't have enough come back from leave, we will have to go out and hire more flight attendants," says a company spokesperson.
