Arizona nurses support state minimum ratio legislation

Arizona nurses are urging lawmakers to pass the Arizona Hospital Patient Protection Act, which would make the state the second in the nation after California to set minimum nurse-to-patient ratios. Tucson-area ER nurse Shawn Murray says she hopes a rally planned for Tuesday will help educate lawmakers about the working conditions for hospital nurses.
