Corps' $4 billion in La. flood projects attracts business

Engineering and construction firms have opened regional offices in the New Orleans area, ready to begin work on flood-control projects proposed by the Army Corps of Engineers. Construction on $4 billion in levee and drainage projects and $1 billion in federal and state coastal restoration projects are anticipated to aid the local economy.
