Frank, Obama want to aid muni bond market with TARP

House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank, D-Mass., and members of President-elect Barack Obama's transition team are working closely to include provisions for the municipal bond market in government stimulus programs. Frank introduced a bill Friday that would set aside a portion of the Troubled Asset Relief Program to help the municipal bond market.
