401(k) criticisms may lead to more regulations

While target-date funds and automatic enrollments for 401(k)s were designed to boost retirement savings, there is criticism the features have led to higher fees and risks for workers, and lower matches from employers. Sen. Herb Kohl, D-Wis., says he will introduce a bill to require more regulation and transparency of such funds.
