Agency vet is named top strategist for R/GA

William Charnock, formerly of WPP's JWT, has been hired as chief strategy officer of Interpublic's R/GA, tasked with guiding the interactive agency's transition to a full-service creative house. Charnock will oversee global strategy in offices in London, the U.S. and, soon, Singapore and Brazil.
