CSX, Georgia form rail-security partnership

CSX Transportation will partner with the state of Georgia on a rail-security program that "represents a model for use by other states," said Gov. Sonny Perdue. Under the agreement, the state and railroad will share information and resources and explore security strategies. "We're pleased to be the first railroad and among the first private industries to formalize security partnerships with the state of Georgia," said CSXT Chief Operating Officer David Brown.
