Commentary: Investors don't understand target-date funds

Too many investors expect target-date funds to provide day-to-day retirement money, something they're not designed to do, according to investment writer Jeff Brown. Retirees should have enough cash saved to cover a couple of years of living expenses and should sell target-fund holdings later as needed.
