Prestige brands lag on mobile platforms, study says

Among 100 leading brands in fashion, beauty, hospitality, jewelry and retailers, only two-thirds have mobile-optimized websites, and few of those are set up for users to shop, according to a survey by research firm L2. As for application development, 70% of the brands have them, but the apps tend to "lack utility and 'stickiness,' " L2 concludes.
