Entrepreneurs can benefit as VCs scramble to stay on top

Faced with challenges from new funding models, venture-capital firms are working hard to make sure they are still able to work with the best and brightest entrepreneurs, writes Sam Hogg, a venture partner with Open Prairie Ventures. One firm that has taken this to heart is Andreessen Horowitz, which has added staff to help startups with all manner of business tasks, Hogg notes. "Good companies are always in demand, but never as much as they are right now, with VC firms in a virtual arms race to get them," Hogg writes. "Take advantage of this environment to get the best possible deal and team you can."
