To be agile, IT departments must be focused and inspired

Many IT departments say they want to achieve organizational agility, Charlie Moss writes. But to truly deliver on that ideal an IT group must have a unifying business objective, a clear understanding of company values and an infrastructure that allows it to rethink top-level strategies, he argues. "A continued ability to change direction, marshal the appropriate resources and meet a specific challenge strongly represents organizational agility," Moss writes.
