Easy money in hard-to-find items

Rollier's, a family-run hardware store in Pittsburgh that was established in 1922, was having a tough time competing against big-box stores until Brett Satterfield, the founder's great-grandson, decided to launch a Web site devoted to "niche-y type items" that the big guys didn't carry. HardToFindItems.com launched in 2008, and last year the site added $1.3 million to Rollier's revenues.
