Embraer reports mixed results on 2009 deliveries

Brazilian manufacturer Embraer reported a 25% drop in commercial aircraft deliveries for 2009, with much of the slowdown coming in the fourth quarter. But Embraer's overall deliveries hit record levels, bolstered by general aviation models like the Phenom 100 and Legacy 600, which saw deliveries nearly double. The company said it ended the year with a $16.6 billion backlog in commercial, executive and defense aircraft orders.
