JPMorgan Chase conducted a survey of its clients and found that 87% of the 140 respondents said the primary market for collateralised loan obligations will return this year. Respondents had mixed views on when the reopening would occur. The results indicate that fundamental deterioration continues to be the largest risk factor. "On a positive note, lack of primary was placed second [vying with market risk] and this suggests most respondents are interested in the future redevelopment of a primary market," JPMorgan analysts noted.
