Judge denies ACC's request for pay cut injunction

A judge ruled he does not have legal grounds to issue an injunction putting on hold government cuts in payments to cardiologists. The American College of Cardiology sued HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius last month, saying the cuts are unjustified and based on faulty evidence. The cardiologists have said they will ramp up efforts in working with Congress to delay the payment cuts.
