Obama expected to ask for $33B additional funds for wars

President Barack Obama is expected to ask Congress for $33 billion in additional funding for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, in addition to $708 billion for the Defense Department in 2011, according to the Associated Press. The Quadrennial Defense Review, due Feb. 1, describes key mission areas and goals for the Pentagon, and gives priority to pilotless drones, calling for the purchase of new Reaper drones and an increase in Predator and Reaper drone flights through 2013.
