Report: Magazine ad pages were off by 25% last year

Magazines last year saw a 25% drop on average in their ad pages compared with 2008, the Publishers Information Bureau is reporting. Among titles with sizable ad-page losses were Hearst's Town and Country, which was down by 45.6%, and Time Inc.'s Fortune, off by 36%. Meanwhile, all of Meredith's titles lost only about 450 ad pages in total.
