Restaurant chains consider solar thermal HVAC systems

Major restaurant chains, including McDonald's, Burger King and Kentucky Fried Chicken, are considering installing solar thermal powered dehumidifier heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems. Such systems can replace standard rooftop units without altering the existing ducting system, according to the company approached by the fast-food chains.
