Va. lawmakers introduce bills related to menhaden harvesting

Two state lawmakers in Virginia have introduced bills that seek to transfer to the Virginia Marine Resources Commission the authority to set in-state restrictions and quotas for the harvesting of a bait fish species called menhaden. Such a move has been opposed in the past by the menhaden industry.
