CES panel: The connected consumer changes everything

Internet-connected mobile devices carried by consumers are changing the game in how consumer electronics are marketed and sold, six marketing executives said in a panel session at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show. Carolyn Everson, vice president of global marketing solutions at Facebook, said technology "is connecting us to people we know and those we don't know and within four degrees of separation you're connected to about a million people."
