Colorado airport reports 5.7% growth in passenger traffic

Durango-La Plata County Airport in Colorado has reported its sixth straight year of growth in passenger traffic. In 2011, the airport handled 5.7% more passengers than in the prior year. "The increased traffic is allowing the airport to improve the customer experience of flying to and from Durango," said Ron Dent, the airport's director of aviation.
