Outdoor exercise can be better than gym, trainer says

People who work in an office all day like the idea of outdoor workouts, which Phoenix College professor and personal trainer Dianne Geddis says can include strength, cardio and mental exercises. She says running up and down bleachers or hiking have advantages over indoor exercises because people use their own body weight for resistance rather than one-size-fits-all gym equipment.
