Reducing methane, soot a quick fix on climate

Slashing emissions of methane and soot are two short-term measures that could have reduce projected rises in temperature by 0.5 degrees Celsius, according to a study. The use of cleaner burning cookstoves is one simple way to reduce soot output, according to the study, which was led by NASA climate scientist Drew Shindell.
