UDR, MetLife JV acquires New York apartment complex for $630M

Denver-based UDR has formed its second joint venture with MetLife, this time to acquire a five-building complex on the Upper West Side in Manhattan. The joint venture acquired Columbus Square for $630 million from the Chetrit Group and Stellar Management. UDR's Manhattan portfolio now consists of nine buildings and 2,626 units.
