For example, the Santa Cruz County Office of Education's Regional Occupation Program in California is offering its first-ever biotechnology class at a central location for the top science students from across the county. "I'm very interested in biology, specifically biotechnology," said senior Julius Solbes-Moran. "This class helps me decide if I want to go into this field."
