Ritter Sport wins court battle

German chocolatier Alfred Ritter won a court battle against consumer protection group Stiftung Warentest. The group had lodged a complaint that the company's vanilla flavor in its Ritter Sport hazelnut chocolate bars was artificially enhanced. A Munich state court ordered the consumer group to stop claiming the vanilla was not natural or else pay a 250,000 euro fine if it makes the claim again.
