Educators should consider expanding their professional learning networks by following relevant scholars on social media, teacher-librarian Joyce Valenza writes in this blog post. She offers links to websites -- such as ResearchBlogging.org or Mendeley -- that list scholars who post updates online about research, and suggests that educators develop a list of scholars in their discipline in order to follow social academic discourse.
