Study: Most students are exposed to food commercialism in schools

About 70% of elementary- and middle-school students and 90% of high-school students were exposed to certain forms of school-based food commercialism between 2007 and 2012, a study on the website of JAMA Pediatrics says. Food coupons were the most common type of commercialism, with 64% of elementary-school students attending schools that offered such incentives.
