Principal Makes Good On Reading Challenge

As promised, Paul Kramer camped out on the roof of San Jose's Lowell Elementary School the weekend of Jan. 12 and 13, after his students announced they had met his challenge of reading 5,000 books. Parents praised Kramer for his initiative and said more programs like these are needed to motivate children to read.
