South Florida minorities hailed for strong showing on AP exams

Ten southern Florida high schools were among the best in the nation because of the number of minority students passing advanced placement exams. Miami-Dade School Board Vice Chairman Robert Ingram said the news should encourage other schools to aggressively send the signal to students that they can succeed in AP courses.
