New Oregon law lets residents plan for long-term care

A new law in Oregon makes long-term care partnership policies available, allowing residents to get private insurance without losing their Medicaid benefits. The legislation was a joint venture between private long-term care insurance providers and the state of Oregon. Many other states also have become interested in LTC partnerships in recent years.
