Report: Nutrition concerns drive children's drink market

Obesity and child-health concerns are making an impact in the children's beverage market, affecting sales, operations and product development, according to research conducted by Packaged Facts. Sales of children's beverages in the U.S. are expected to reach $5.8 billion by 2012 as the industry pursues more nutritious alternatives in response to changing consumer needs and behavior, the report said.
